Tenerife Golf Guide

The most popular of the Canary Islands, Tenerife receives more than four million visitors each year. Its dramatic volcanic landscape and fine weather are attractions, along with the island’s nine golf courses and year-round golf. The resorts of Playa de Las Americas (in Adeje) and Los Cristianos (part of Arona) are home to most of the accommodation and golf courses in Tenerife. Playa de Las Americas has two championship golf courses at Costa Adeje and Golf Las Americas.

Teetimesanywhere.com offer great value tee times and green fees in all of the best Tenerife golf courses. Here’s a guide to some of the more popular golf courses in Tenerife;

Abama

This five-star Tenerife golf resort, in the southwest of the island, counts visitors such as Bill Clinton among past guests. Abama Gran Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa offer restaurants, tennis courts and spa facilities, and there is a golf shop, three-hole practice course, and golf school.

With the views, the thousands of palm trees plus desert and tropical species and a layout that is designed to be enjoyed by players of all levels, Abama is a spectacular place to play golf on Tenerife.
